Coffee table

About the Project:

Coffee Table is a functional object developed through a sculptural approach, where form, material, and everyday use are brought together in a single piece. The work explores the balance between utility and formal expression, existing simultaneously as furniture and as an artistic object.

The development of the project required particular attention to the definition of proportions, the relationship between different materials, and the quality of the finish. Mão de Fogo oversaw the entire production process, from the materialisation of the concept to the final execution, ensuring technical precision and formal coherence throughout.

The combination of resin and wood made it possible to explore contrasts in texture, weight, and visual presence, highlighting both the handcrafted nature of the object and the precision of the manufacturing process. Each stage was carefully managed to ensure structural stability, durability, and a clear visual reading of the piece within its environment.

This project reflects Mão de Fogo’s versatility in creating works that go beyond the boundaries of traditional sculpture, integrating design, craftsmanship, and contemporary technical solutions in the production of unique objects.
