Grace

Grace is a sculpture by Karl Heinz Stock, entrepreneur and art collector, who alongside his professional career has developed a personal involvement in the visual arts. Founder of Quinta dos Vales, in Estômbar, Algarve, he sought to integrate artistic creation into the winery estate, transforming it into an open-air exhibition space.

Mão de Fogo was responsible for the technical execution of the bronze casting process for several of the sculptures conceived by the author, ensuring their transformation into durable works suitable for permanent outdoor display.

The work included all stages of mould making, casting, finishing, and patination, with the aim of preserving the formal language and expressiveness of the original artworks. The use of bronze ensured the longevity of the sculptures and their harmonious integration within the landscape of Quinta dos Vales.

Today, these works remain on display throughout the estate, establishing a dialogue between art, architecture, nature, and wine production, while contributing to the cultural identity of the site.

This project demonstrates Mão de Fogo’s experience in collaborating with artists and collectors, transforming original models into permanent sculptures intended for exhibition settings and public or private spaces.
