Sentido y Sostenibilidad - Urbaidai

Sentido y Sostenibilidad was an artistic intervention project developed within the Urdaibai Natural Park, in the Basque Country, an environmentally protected area of significant cultural and territorial value.

The project was carried out in collaboration with curator Alberto S. Balmisa and involved several invited artists who created site-specific interventions for different locations throughout the park. The artistic conception of the works remained the responsibility of each participating artist, following the curatorial framework established for the project.

Mão de Fogo assumed responsibility for the executive production and technical coordination of the initiative, overseeing overall logistics, providing direct support to artists during production and installation, and coordinating the engagement of local technicians. This approach ensured effective integration with the territory and its available resources. The work also included collaboration with local teams, adaptation to the specific conditions of the natural park, and technical supervision of the interventions on site.

The project was distinguished by its collaborative approach and careful implementation of artistic interventions within a natural environment, ensuring appropriate technical conditions, respect for the surrounding landscape, and the operational feasibility of the artistic proposals.
